SNOG and DISTORTION GOSPEL mark Halloween 2024 by teaming up for a night of dark, extreme and experimental club music brought to life by the earthquake vibrations of the Chewing Glass Collective Soundsystem.
Luz luz luz! (CDMX), Terrorplex (Heriot) + Zoning (Scaler), Kinlaw (ATC), Ekstasis, Orderly Room, CGC DJs
LUZ LUZ LUZ!
Hailing from Mexico City, LLL create an intense, industrial, catchy and staggered whirlwind from a fairly odd, and immensely stripped back combo. Using just one guitar and one vocal, exploring the limits of rhythm and sound via a drumless, syncopated, avant-garde, experimental take on hardcore punk.
Clothing brings captivating and slamming vocals with occasional fx, while Emiliano Cruz interweaves with crushing, distorted hardcore punk guitar riffs. Rhythmic, intense, beautiful, and with the absence of drums taken into account, it is remarkable how their music remains so danceable.
The latest signing to the SNOG roster, we’re incredibly gassed to host their UK debut
TERRORPLEX + ZONING
Jake Packer (TERRORPLEX), of UK metal heavyweights HERIOT, and James Rushforth (ZONING) of Scaler (FKA Scalping) team up for a one off collaborative hybrid live electronics//DJ set.
Despite being conceived this year, TERRORPLEX has released 2 EP’s and 1 single: This string of releases has proven to be essential listening for anyone that seeks out the sonic misery found in artists like SCORN, JK FLESH or the darker end of THE BUG and Mezzanine era MASSIVE ATTACK.
Zoning offers a delay drenched, winding tour of distorted dub techno: Think the doom club beats of G36, and the ____ of ____
KINLAW
The Kinlaw lore runs deep. The Avonian industrial folklorist - affiliated with Avon Terror Corps and Drowned By Locals - lays down a blistering bedrock of mutant punktronics, mediaeval noise-trap and swaggering, blown-out beats. His productions primed for a global crew of collaborators ft. Franco Franco, Dali de Saint Paul, Ecko Bazz, Yao Bobby and Elvin Brandhi. …
EKSTASIS
Ambience and noise music make best friends on planet EKSTASIS:
Voids of broken bass let howling vocals blister and collide in what makes for a sinister, cathartic and momentarily beautiful experience. This is the soundtrack to an unmade film that would leave you haunted and pensive.
ORDERLY ROOM (DJ)
Known for melting down industrial textures across grime, ballroom, dubstep and hard drum. Alloying these sounds with racing breaks, harsh noise and smoking area phone recordings, industrial bitch communist agitator of the Bristol queer scene ORDERLY ROOM will be bringing disorientingly dynamic pressure-cooker music, and a massive hormonated rack, to our massive rig in the basement of The Crown. Massive.
